The Electrical Controls Engineer will design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for industrial machinery. They will program, test, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HMIs, and SCADA systems. Additionally, they will develop and modify control logic and ladder diagrams for automation processes, integrate industrial control systems with mechanical and electrical components, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. The role includes performing diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical control panels, collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and production teams, and developing technical documentation. They will also support commissioning, startup, and ongoing maintenance of automation systems, and assist in training and mentoring plant personnel on control systems.
