Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of K-12 ELA classroom teaching experience, along with 2+ years of instructional design experience. They should demonstrate a strong empathy for educators, keen attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. A willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and creative problem-solving skills are also required.

Responsibilities

The ELA Content Writer will be responsible for manually authoring/editing interactive question types using the Kiddom platform, authoring/editing supplemental resources aligned to existing curriculum, reviewing content and providing Quality Assurance feedback, and analyzing and creating content to align to state and national ELA standards. They will also ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications, provide project updates to stakeholders, troubleshoot and problem solve when situations do not align with usual processes, and continuously monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
