Study.com is seeking passionate individuals to write practice test questions for students preparing for various professional exams. As a Practice Test Writer, you'll create a variety of question types based on provided materials, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with standardized test formats. This is an online, remote contract role, with payment per piece.

Requirements

  • Education: A Master’s Degree or higher and/or up-to-date professional license/credential in English Language Arts.
  • Experience: Knowledge and experience in any of the listed exams (Teaching Certificates, Professional Certificates, Military Exams) or at least 2 years in a related field.
  • Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills with correct English grammar and mechanics, and the ability to follow directions.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work independently, be motivated, and responsive to feedback.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Write a variety of question types containing clear and relevant content according to project specifications.
  • Utilize provided learning objectives and sample questions to create questions that match the content, format, and difficulty of real standardized tests.
  • Write practice tests based on subject matter expertise.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team, providing feedback and responding to requests.
