Requirements
Candidates should have proven experience as an instructional designer or in a similar role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design. They should possess a strong portfolio showcasing a range of instructional design projects, including video, text-based, and multimedia content. Proficiency with Articulate Rise and/or Storyline is required, and experience with Synthesia or similar tools is a plus. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Thought Industries, is a bonus, along with exceptional communication and collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Responsibilities
The Instructional Designer will design and develop instructional content for the Academy, ranging from short, video-based microlearning modules to longer, multi-format certifications, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and structure content. They will leverage tools like Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and Synthesia to create high-quality, scalable learning experiences, ensuring all content is pedagogically sound, visually appealing, and adheres to accessibility standards. The role involves analyzing learner feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve content effectiveness, assisting in managing content delivery within the LMS (Thought Industries), and staying informed about industry trends and best practices in instructional design, technology, and customer education.
