Requirements
Candidates should possess a strong technical understanding of networking fundamentals, including L2/L3, BGP, and IPv6, along with 5+ years of experience in software development or research within the networking industry. A passion for programmable networking and P4, coupled with the ability to write and present about technology, is essential, as is an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for SDN and P4 technologies.
Responsibilities
The Ecosystem Lead will identify strategies to drive P4 adoption across industries, collaborate with P4 members and stakeholders, evolve P4 specifications and software, grow the P4 community through events and recruitment, encourage community leadership, write and publish content explaining P4, manage the project budget, and coordinate with LF staff. Travel up to 10% may be required.
