Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 10 years of experience in backend development and infrastructure management, with a minimum of 4 years in a senior role, demonstrating extensive experience managing infrastructure at scale and delivering stability and performance. They should have experience with direct ownership of service orchestration, including documentation, support, deployment, observability, and CI/CD pipelining, and be proficient in Kubernetes, particularly within AWS. Responsibilities

The Lead Backend Engineer will be responsible for leading a small team, taking ownership of significant responsibilities, and driving the development and operation of our backend systems, including managing infrastructure, overseeing deployments, and ensuring the stability and performance of our services. They will contribute to the ongoing evolution of our technical stack, including upgrades to support global growth, enhance cloud-native tools, and implement ML-driven recommendations and search engines. Additionally, they will play a key role in game server hosting for User Generated Content and AI-powered content generation, while also documenting and supporting the overall system architecture.
