The state-of-the-art, multi-purpose manufacturing facility is designed for the large-scale production of biologics and has significant expansion potential. Upon completion of construction activities, our Lengnau site will offer highly flexible bio-manufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production, including stainless steel equipment to meet our customers' needs.

Position: Technicien DSP (Downstream Processing Technician) Location: Seneffe, BE

As a DSP (Downstream Processing) Technician, you will lead the production of recombinant products using automated production equipment. You will support compliance, planning, material management, change controls, investigations, CAPAs (corrective and preventive actions), operational excellence, etc. You will also support project teams in the design, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new production lines for recombinant products, as well as the startup of these new production lines.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out DSP production steps for clinical batches under the direction of the DSP Manager.
  • Participate in technology transfers from R&D or client platforms to GMP production.
  • Manage DT receptions and requests to QA for production batch labels and batch record printing.
  • Execute QC analysis requests and report NCs (non-conformities).
  • Manage internal shipments and ensure daily cleaning of aseptic and non-aseptic cleanrooms.
  • Participate in Line Clearances at the beginning, middle, and end of campaigns.
  • Assemble and prepare sterile materials and manage the storage of in-progress PI/PV/PF and QC samples.
  • Perform routine microbiological and particulate controls in production areas.
  • Train new technicians and participate in equipment validation and maintenance.
  • Perform sampling of sensitive raw materials as needed.
  • Support the preparation and decontamination of production equipment, as well as buffer preparation.
  • Assist with particulate controls in production areas during downtime.
  • Attend necessary meetings related to the function and track inventory.
  • Implement the 5S policy within the team, ensuring a clean and well-organized work environment.
  • Comply with and enforce safety and biosafety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
  • Report project progress as required.
