Responsibilities

Covering pharmacist scheduling gaps as directed by the District Performance Coordinator (DPC)
Overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts
Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty
Following and directing the pharmacy team to follow pharmacy workflow procedures and utilizing safety guardrails
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Coaching the pharmacy team to demonstrate compassionate care and proactively resolving insurance and/or medication issues
Offering and delivering immunizations to keep patients healthy
Supporting the effective management of pharmacy inventory
Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills
Supporting access to care and improving patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical care (e.g., testing and prescribing services)
Understanding and complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles
