Requirements

Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and must be currently licensed to practice as a pharmacist in the state of employment. A strong understanding of pharmacy law and regulations is essential, along with experience in medication dispensing and patient counseling.

Responsibilities

As a District Support Pharmacist, you will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, supporting pharmacy teams and overseeing pharmacy operations. You will also assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties during bench shifts, contribute to safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures, and proactively offer and deliver immunizations to patients while coaching the pharmacy team to provide compassionate care and resolve insurance and medication issues.
