Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and must be currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of employment. A minimum of one year of experience as a registered pharmacist is preferred, along with strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compounding practices.
The District Support Pharmacist will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, supporting pharmacy teams and operations. They will oversee the pharmacy, assume Pharmacy Manager’s duties during bench shifts, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures, and contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy and care. Additionally, the DSP will assist with immunizations, manage pharmacy inventory, and proactively resolve insurance and medication issues.
