BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition (BASN) is seeking a District Sales Manager to join their team in the Savannah, GA region. This is a key leadership role responsible for achieving annual sales goals and managing field execution at the retail level for BODYARMOR products. The role involves ensuring programming, promotions, distribution, and merchandising meet "Look of Success" standards across various channels and chains. The District Sales Manager will also lead the implementation of customer strategy, fostering alignment internally and externally to support business objectives. BASN is backed by The Coca-Cola Company and is focused on becoming #1 in Sports Hydration.

Requirements

  • Expert negotiator and strategic selling partner to bottlers and retailers.
  • Ability to lead monitoring, tracking, analysis, and communication of retail event performance.
  • Proven experience in relationship development with sales management of bottlers and retail vertical leaders.
  • Skill in developing and executing sales and promotion strategies for BODYARMOR products across all channels.
  • Capability to serve as the primary point of contact for sales, merchandising, and delivery teams, providing guidance and resolving complex scenarios.
  • Experience in creating excitement and motivation for bottler sales teams through strategic leadership.
  • Ability to maximize execution of chain promotional activities at store level, including display building, inventory management, planogram execution, and point of sale distribution.
  • Experience in onboarding and managing sales intern programs, including coaching and performance feedback.
  • Collaborative leader skilled in partnering with Regional Marketing Managers to maximize regional opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills for internal reporting of successes, competitive trends, and product introductions.
  • Ability to design, plan, and participate in external meetings, including crew drives and sales blitzes.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize growth and mutual ownership of execution expectations through expert negotiation and strategic selling.
  • Lead the monitoring, tracking, analysis, and communication of pre- and post-assessment performance of key retail events.
  • Lead relationship development with sales management of bottlers and vertical leaders of retail companies.
  • Develop and execute sales and promotion strategies for all BODYARMOR® products to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and resolution to sales, merchandising, and delivery teams at local sales centers.
  • Engage and motivate bottler sales teams to optimize sales objectives through strategic leadership.
  • Maximize execution of all chain promotional activities at store level.
  • Responsible for the onboarding and management of the sales intern program for the territory.
  • Partner with the Regional Marketing Manager to maximize regional opportunities and connect bottler leadership to event value and execution.
  • Lead internal communication of successes, competition trends, deals, product introductions, and opportunities via daily/weekly sales recaps.
  • Design, plan, and participate in external meetings to support the field team in achieving sales goals and strategic objectives.
