Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree in Business or a similar field being preferred. A minimum of five years of sales experience in orthopedic medical devices, preferably in foot and ankle, is required. Sales coaching and development experience is essential, along with at least two years of experience leading direct sales teams. The ability to travel up to 70%, including overnight stays, and comfort working in an Operating Room environment to instruct surgeons are also necessary qualifications.

Responsibilities

The District Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving the district's sales budget and managing all activities within the allocated expense budget. This role involves ensuring adequate distributor engagement and support to build a strong customer pipeline, including participation in surgeon webinars and qualified surgeon lab attendees. The manager will provide case coverage and verbal technical assistance to surgeons and OR personnel, assist with hiring, performance management, and conversion of sales representatives, and collaborate with sales force to develop a pipeline of new surgeon trainees and users.
