Requirements

2+ years of prior supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
Warehouse Management Systems experience
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees (preferred)
Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently (preferred)
Ability to complete assignments within established timelines (preferred)
Ability to complete work under general supervision (preferred)
Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency (preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Compliance, DEA or regulatory background (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 20+ non-exempt employees in a distribution facility
Plan, organize, direct, control, and supervise daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics
Oversee order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders
Maintain high levels of productivity and quality
Schedule and assign work to employees
Provide necessary equipment, materials, and documents for task completion
Determine proper staffing levels based on volume and type of work
Maintain balanced workload by monitoring readings and readjusting staffing as necessary
Monitor employee work performance to ensure quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded
Provide ongoing training/retraining to meet or exceed productivity standards
Utilize reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems
Administer policies/procedures fairly and consistently, addressing employee issues professionally
Handle hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
Communicate effectively across all levels
Build high-performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleagues
Champion safety by maintaining a safe and clean work environment
