Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
  • Warehouse Management Systems experience
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently (preferred)
  • Ability to complete assignments within established timelines (preferred)
  • Ability to complete work under general supervision (preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Compliance, DEA or regulatory background (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 20+ non-exempt employees in a distribution facility
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and supervise daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics
  • Oversee order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and quality
  • Schedule and assign work to employees
  • Provide necessary equipment, materials, and documents for task completion
  • Determine proper staffing levels based on volume and type of work
  • Maintain balanced workload by monitoring readings and readjusting staffing as necessary
  • Monitor employee work performance to ensure quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded
  • Provide ongoing training/retraining to meet or exceed productivity standards
  • Utilize reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems
  • Administer policies/procedures fairly and consistently, addressing employee issues professionally
  • Handle hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
  • Communicate effectively across all levels
  • Build high-performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleagues
  • Champion safety by maintaining a safe and clean work environment
