Requirements

Candidates should have previous dishwashing experience preferred, but not required, previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required, attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment, ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team, strong organizational and time management skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Dishwasher will wash dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils by hand when necessary, operate the industrial dishwasher in a proper and safe manner, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by keeping the dishwashing area clean and organized, including cleaning sinks, drains, and counters, empty trash and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas as needed, prepare and package individual place settings, assist kitchen staff with basic tasks, such as retrieving items or light prep work, as needed, clean up spills and broken glass, sweep and mop kitchen floors during shift (as needed) and at the end of shift, help with food receiving and delivery, assist in putting food & goods away in proper designated areas, ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas, and monitor and refill dishwashing chemicals and cleaning supplies.
