Requirements

Candidates are required to have 10+ years of direct business development or sales experience with a proven track record of building strong relationships with participants in the wealth management ecosystem across various platforms, direct experience selling investment products to RIAs and their platform advisors, a deep understanding of private capital markets and alternative investment products, experience with selling private or registered funds, outstanding sales acumen, negotiation skills, and a results-driven mentality, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

The Director of Wealth Channel Distribution will identify, cultivate, and establish strong relationships with participants across the wealth management ecosystem, understand the approach, needs, and pain points of RIAs with regard to investing in private capital markets, collaborate with the investments team to design and customize investment products, drive significant AUM growth for Hiive by placing Hiive investment products with RIAs, develop Hiive’s wealth channel sales engine by systematizing outreach and building a pipeline of RIA prospects, identify new opportunities within the wealth management community, establish Hiive as a thought leader, work closely with the marketing team to design sales campaigns and collateral, facilitate seamless onboarding for new RIA clients, and ensure all business development activities adhere to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
