Requirements

  • 7+ Years of Experience in a related technical / SaaS business (3+ in senior leader capacities), with specific experience scaling B2B sales operations in this environment
  • Visionary Leadership: Function as a truly people-first leader who inspires and motivates the team through clear vision, with real passion for mentoring and developing team members
  • Deep Sales Understanding: Bring an understanding of SaaS B2B sales and marketing funnels and key workflows such as capacity and goal planning, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, sales methodologies, sales compensation, lead distribution, territory mapping, sales stage design, etc
  • Experience in Sales Methodologies and deployments such as MEDDICC, Customer Centric Selling, Challenger, SPIN, BANT, etc
  • Strong Sales System Knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales operations team with a focus on cascading vision, strategy, and key prioritized initiatives; ensure leaders execute on strategy and operationalize GTM initiatives and planning
  • Serve as GTM Strategic Thought Partner with the executive team to define GTM strategy aligned with company goals, establishing an operating plan (people, process, technology) to maximize sales revenue and goal attainment
  • Optimize Sales Execution by ensuring sales organizations are equipped with resources, processes, and technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive Business Alignment by collaborating cross-functionally (Marketing, Finance, Sales Enablement, Business Applications/Salesforce, Customer Experience, Product, executive stakeholders) to build trust, provide direction, and ensure accountability
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Revenue leaders, shaping operational structures and processes to maximize revenue performance, bringing clarity and balancing bias-to-action with feasibility
  • Partner with Revenue Analysts on Sales Data & Analytics to ensure an optimal sales reporting environment capturing holistic performance data (volume, conversion, pipeline health, MRR attainment); establish quotas/goals and enable clear visibility to achieve targets
  • Own or influence decision-making across the sales Tech Stack and roadmap (Salesforce, Outreach, Qualified, etc.), driving optimization and forward strategy (e.g., AI)
  • Drive Process Optimization and Governance by defining Rules of Engagement, resourcing top initiatives, and architecting scalable sales processes across the buyer journey to maximize conversion and rep productivity
