Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in brand marketing / creative strategy, relationship management, project management
  • Background in brand marketing, creative development and delivery, hands-on relationship management and project management experience
  • Solid understanding of how a creative organization should run its business, with proven record of successful delivery
  • Experience leading complex strategic projects and demonstrated success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options and then proposing and acting on a course of action
  • Proven success to pull together diverse individuals, across internal and external network, with different goals and facilitate productive discussions, to drive critical processes and management routines
  • Mastery of business communication tools and verbal/written communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through storytelling
  • Strategic enterprise thinking
  • Strong understanding of local culture and brand heritage
  • Capability to act as problem solver and doer, bringing developed strategy into real-life experience
  • Excel in driving complex, cross-functional plans in a highly matrixed organization

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead a team of seasoned professionals with a diverse network of creative partners across fashion, art, design, and streetwear
  • Craft a shared vision for the highly selected community and Nike brand
  • Lead the team to explore and test unknown territory that shapes/redefines the future of sport culture
  • Shape the future of Nike brand’s sport culture offense in Greater China, together with Energy Marketing Brand Team, in partnership with cross-functional team leaders
  • Develop strategic vision and framework for relationship management, considering existing communities/partners and white space
  • Cultivate a collective of partners based on distinctive individual POV and positioning to express and shape Nike brand’s POV on youth and sport culture
  • Direct and explore partnership opportunities across Sport & Sportwear pre-season and in-season
  • Drive successful creative and project delivery by leading functional expertise and coordinating with cross-functional teams
  • Enable each team member to unlock their area of expertise and network of partners by driving and allocating projects with most synergy
  • Facilitate synergized offense across network of partners beyond stand-alone offense, where applicable
  • Focus on providing the right space for individual growth and career development
