Responsibilities

The Director, Quality Engineering will lead the strategy for quality engineering, test automation, and performance testing across the company's product suite, collaborating with development and testing teams. They will identify and implement standardization of tools and frameworks, define metrics for non-functional requirements, implement a test plan and execution framework, manage test environments, oversee automated API tests, establish quality standards, provide managerial direction and oversee performance management for direct reports, and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules. Additionally, they will collaborate with senior management, provide strategic influence, serve as an escalation point for complex issues, evaluate team processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with leadership to plan and set the strategic vision for the department.
