We foster a mission-driven culture that provides every CrowdStriker with the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We are seeking talented individuals with limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation, and a fanatical commitment to our customers, community, and each other. Join us and shape the future of cybersecurity.

About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on QA leader responsible for upholding the highest quality standards across all CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor releases. This role emphasizes validating compatibility within customer environments and end-to-end scenarios as they relate to the broader Falcon Platform. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a profound understanding of diverse technologies, including operating systems, kernel-level testing, and front-end/UI. This expertise will be crucial in building comprehensive end-to-end automation that mirrors enterprise usage of the Falcon Platform.

What You'll Do

  • Customer-Centric Quality Assurance:
    • Design and implement a quality engineering strategy to validate CrowdStrike products against real-world customer environments.
    • Focus on comprehensive testing across all features, operating systems, and prevalent third-party applications.
    • Engage with customers, from C-suite to practitioners, to build confidence in our quality strategy.
  • End-to-End Testing Strategy:
    • Build and oversee a test framework and methodology for robust End-to-End (E2E) validation.
    • Validate OS/kernel interactions across various patch states and configurations, front-end user interfaces, backend services, and hardware/application compatibility in customer-like environments.
    • Collaborate with release teams beyond the sensor (e.g., content, UI, cloud) to ensure E2E scenarios are fully covered.
  • Stress, Performance, and Longevity Testing:
    • Oversee teams conducting performance and longevity testing to ensure minimal system overhead for endpoints running the Falcon sensor.
    • Ensure robustness, stress, and longevity testing validates that the Falcon sensor does not adversely affect long-term endpoint stability.
  • Root Cause Analysis & Feedback:
    • Lead efforts in analyzing endpoint telemetry.
    • Integrate customer feedback into testing processes to prevent recurrences and drive continuous improvements in product quality.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Collaborate with product, engineering, customer support, and operations teams.
    • Ensure a deep understanding of customer use cases and infrastructure, embedding this knowledge into testing strategies.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting:
    • Define and track quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Focus on customer-found defects, test coverage across the platform, and overall release quality.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing quality engineering team.
    • Ensure the development of scalable and efficient test strategies.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
    • Ensure the testing strategy scales effectively with product evolution and customer expectations.

What You'll Need

  • 15+ years of experience in quality engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in developing end-to-end quality assurance strategies, including testing at the OS/kernel level, UI testing, and cloud service validation.
  • Experience building and implementing test frameworks.
