The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Operations, with at least 5 years in high-growth SaaS environments. They should possess a proven ability to build operational discipline, influence executives with data, and lead teams. Experience in establishing operating rhythms, implementing best-in-class frameworks, and ensuring product teams have clarity and support is essential. A strong understanding of product strategy, execution, and measurement is also required.
The Director of Product Operations will build and lead the Product Operations function, establishing and refining product management processes such as roadmapping, prioritization, and release management. They will implement scalable tools and systems for product information centralization and reporting, and create onboarding programs and playbooks for product teams. Responsibilities include defining best practices for discovery, roadmap hygiene, retrospectives, and GTM enablement, as well as driving product planning cycles and ensuring alignment with GTM functions on pricing, packaging, and positioning. The role involves building systems for customer feedback, identifying and implementing process improvements to increase velocity, and defining organizational readiness frameworks for major launches. Key duties also include defining and managing product performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making through analytics and dashboards, partnering with Finance on financial modeling, and implementing Voice of Customer practices. The Director will serve as a connective tissue across departments, build cross-functional relationships, mentor product managers and operations professionals, and lead a high-performing team. They will also act as a trusted advisor to Product leadership and executive teams, distilling complex data into clear narratives.
