Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including leading major initiatives on high-usage consumer or direct-to-customer products
  • Generative AI integrated into your workflow and products — you actively use AI to improve product thinking, prototyping, and deliverables, and ideally have shipped Generative AI-powered features
  • Customer-obsessed and research fluent — you work with UX Research, qualitative insights, and customer feedback, and use that to place sharp, opinionated bets
  • Highly data-informed — you define the right metrics, design clean experiments, partner tightly with Data Science, and use results to double down or kill ideas without sentimentality
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication — proven ability to partner with Engineering, Design, DS, and AI/infra teams, and to influence at the executive level

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product strategy for Messaging conversations, staying grounded in real user needs and impact driven across millions of DAU
  • Own end-to-end product outcomes for core Messaging surfaces, from discovery to launch and iteration
  • Prototype, validate, and ship new messaging experiences that make it easier to focus, prioritize, and take action-- especially in an AI-augmented world
  • Use a tight feedback loop of user research, metrics, and experimentation to inform sharp product decisions and kill ideas that don’t deliver impact
  • Inspire and align executives, cross-functional partners, and adjacent product teams with clear narratives, crisp writing, and strong product judgment
  • Partner closely with teams including Engineering, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and other Product Managers to move fast at scale without sacrificing quality, reliability, or trust
  • Mentor other PMs on product craft, execution, and strategy, raising the bar for the broader Messaging product org
