Requirements

  • Established history of success in the space and aerospace community
  • Knowledge of the total space ecosystem, including on-orbit missions, communication links, and the ground segment
  • Deep mission knowledge of the National Security Space (NSS) landscape (Title 10, Title 50, FFRDCs & UARCs)
  • Experience in technical sales, negotiations, finance, and growth
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Engineering background and prior NSS mission experience (plus)
  • Ability to capture and convey the voice of the customer
  • Proficient in capture management, including solutioning, technical volumes, program schedules, cost volumes, and providing insight

Responsibilities

  • Manage customers and grow sales in the Eastern Region
  • Lead sales and strategic pursuits
  • Oversee customer relationships
  • Document customer engagements
  • Report business development activities and forecasts
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers to understand their current and future needs
  • Promote alignment of SEAKR's current and future capabilities to meet customer needs
  • Support formulation of capture strategies with the SEAKR capture team
  • Coordinate with executives to define and execute business development strategies
  • Manage independent regional sales representative organizations
  • Train and empower SEAKR's independent sales representatives in the eastern region
  • Act as the initial technical point of contact for SEAKR's eastern region representatives
  • Contribute to and inform marketing execution for SEAKR capabilities
  • Develop and provide insight for program schedules, cost volumes, and technical volumes
