Requirements

  • Exceptional people manager: 6+ years of experience hiring and managing highly experienced, high-performing product managers, with demonstrated experience developing talent
  • Proven track record of defining product strategy for complex areas of the business and leading cross-functional execution (e.g., held Director, Sr. Director, or VP level roles)
  • Experience in monetization and marketing, with ability to speak the language of partners in media sales, partnerships, and marketing, and understand their value to the business
  • Results-oriented with a people-first leadership style that builds trust and drives outcomes
  • Data-driven, utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to solve challenging customer problems, with experience running consumer-facing A/B tests
  • Ability to find opportunity in ambiguity; identify, advocate for, and execute on new opportunities without a clear mandate
  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize to get the right things done, with adaptability to pivot into different focus areas
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-change environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead Media and Marketing product teams responsible for user experiences and technology platforms used by partner teams in Media, Partnerships, Acquisition, Retention, and Content, as well as customer data privacy and security in media and marketing efforts
  • Partner daily with leaders across the Babylist organization to ensure technology investments support business growth and serve customers
  • Provide leadership support to the VP of Product to shape the Product Management function and broader Consumer Product organization
  • Report to the VP of Consumer Product and lead a team of 2 or 3 Product Managers
  • Drive Babylist company strategy forward as a key partner unlocking Media & Marketing opportunities
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgment about tradeoffs between business goals and user experience
  • Partner across large parts of the Babylist ecosystem to find and create opportunities
