Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of Product Design and Research experience, with at least 5 years in a Product Design leadership role within a high-growth SaaS company, preferably B2B. Experience managing a distributed team is a plus, along with experience shipping B2C products at scale and iterating based on consumer needs. Strong experience in a scrum/agile environment with embedded designers and researchers is required, as well as a scientific mindset for validating design hypotheses and background in both generative and evaluative design research practices.

Responsibilities

The Director of Product Design and Research will drive the execution and delivery of a domain-defining user experience in the Response Management space, leveraging AI and machine learning. They will refine and shape the Experience Strategy, define a high bar for experience quality, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, mentor and support the Product Design and Research team, build and refine the Product Design and Research process, and be the voice of Product Design within the company. Additionally, they will prioritize team retention, lead the team to build a customer-loved product, and champion a customer-centric approach.
