Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including full-cycle recruiting and HR operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to build trust across teams and levels
  • Experience in a growing or entrepreneurial environment preferred
  • Proficiency with HR software (e.g., Gusto, Rippling, BambooHR, Greenhouse, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead all full-cycle recruiting efforts across the company: sourcing; Partner with hiring managers to define roles, craft job descriptions, develop interview plans, and source diverse, high-quality candidates
  • Build proactive pipelines and nurture relationships with high-quality talent
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, conversion) and improve processes as the company grows
  • Own HRIS, documentation, and benefits administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and NYC employment laws
  • Own and manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process
  • Update and strengthen employee handbook, HR policies, and SOPs
  • Champion Graza’s culture and help embed our values into daily ways of working
  • Design and support engagement programs, recognition initiatives, team events, and feedback processes
  • Guide leaders through employee relations issues including coaching and corrective action with fairness, discretion, and clarity
