Requirements

  • Experience leading end-to-end on-site operations (pre-arrival logistics through inventory, processing, storage, and outbound shipping)
  • Ability to direct multiple integrated departments through subordinate managers and supervisors
  • Proven track record in scaling operations from thousands to tens of thousands of unique items per year, including capacity planning, workflow design, staffing, and technology support
  • Expertise in driving Safety, Quality, Productivity, Throughput, and service KPIs with operating mechanisms and review cadences
  • Strong skills in production planning, coordination, goal-setting, and translating priorities into executable work plans
  • Continuous improvement (CPI) mindset to increase throughput, efficiency, and quality while standardizing scalable processes
  • Capability to build high-ownership culture emphasizing urgency, workplace pride, and operational discipline
  • Experience developing leaders and teams in partnership with HR/People team
  • Proficiency in managing site risks (safety, security, insurance) through cross-functional collaboration
  • Partnership experience with Product, Engineering, Real Estate & Facilities, Customer Support, and Sales
  • Ability to cascade functional strategy, ensure operational effectiveness, make final decisions on implementation, and manage multi-department budgets
  • Leadership through subordinate managers, setting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria

Responsibilities

  • Own on-site production and logistics end-to-end (pre-arrival through shipping), balancing throughput, cost, and quality (grading out of scope)
  • Scale operations to meet growth targets from thousands to tens of thousands of unique items per year
  • Own and deliver Safety, Quality, Productivity, Throughput, and service KPIs, establishing accountability mechanisms
  • Provide production planning and coordination, setting goals and executable work plans for multi-team operations
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase throughput, efficiency, and quality; define and standardize scalable processes
  • Build a high-ownership culture valuing urgency, workplace pride, and operational discipline
  • Develop leaders and teams with the People team, enhancing skills, engagement, and business alignment
  • Manage site risk across safety, security, and insurance via cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to implement tech solutions for operational gains
