Requirements

5+ years of technical management experience
8+ years of experience as a back-end or full stack software engineer
BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Information Science, or related fields
Strong skills/proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Ruby, Rust, Julia)
Familiarity with data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn)
Flexibility to support complex technical issues and critical customer outages

Responsibilities

Be the driving force behind the design and development of the SmartBidder application
Implement and refine a comprehensive development strategy ensuring highest levels of quality and reliability, supporting agile methodologies
Drive performance, stability, and scalability of software solutions across the Full Stack
Communicate with internal and external customers to understand user experience
Review, investigate, and advise on system architecture and technology platform choices
Own delivery of the product, including coordinating releases, support rotations, and incident response
Support and encourage best practices throughout the entire software life cycle
Provide multiple levels of technical and design documentation
Manage a team of developers, providing guidance, feedback, and code review
