Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical management experience
  • 8+ years of experience as a back-end or full stack software engineer
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Information Science, or related fields
  • Strong skills/proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Ruby, Rust, Julia)
  • Familiarity with data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn)
  • Flexibility to support complex technical issues and critical customer outages

Responsibilities

  • Be the driving force behind the design and development of the SmartBidder application
  • Implement and refine a comprehensive development strategy ensuring highest levels of quality and reliability, supporting agile methodologies
  • Drive performance, stability, and scalability of software solutions across the Full Stack
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to understand user experience
  • Review, investigate, and advise on system architecture and technology platform choices
  • Own delivery of the product, including coordinating releases, support rotations, and incident response
  • Support and encourage best practices throughout the entire software life cycle
  • Provide multiple levels of technical and design documentation
  • Manage a team of developers, providing guidance, feedback, and code review
