Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess prior hands-on development experience, with specific product-side reliability engineering experience, and a proven track record of scaling Product SRE practices in complex, multi-product environments. They should also demonstrate the ability to drive organizational change and increase engineering maturity, as well as experience with establishing strategic tooling governance.

Responsibilities

This Director will focus on establishing and scaling Product SRE capabilities, building world-class Product SRE practices from the ground up, and driving measurable engineering productivity gains and system reliability. They will also mature Centers of Excellence across Systems Engineering, DevSecOps, Release Engineering, and Engineering Metrics, while championing Site Reliability Engineering principles and embedding productivity metrics into quarterly planning cycles. Furthermore, they will identify systemic bottlenecks and lead cross-functional efforts to remove them, and guide Systems Engineering best practices across scalability, observability, automation, and cost optimization.
