Requirements

  • Understanding of product development processes (NPI, NTI, CPI, BIQ, Aftermarket, Product Support, PPAP, APQP)
  • Skills in conflict resolution, negotiating, and managing teams & projects through roadblocks

Responsibilities

  • Oversee top-level execution of Engine Systems New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs
  • Manage overall relationships with internal partners across Resource Industries, Construction Industries, and Power & Energy segments
  • Hold direct leadership and accountability for Advanced Power Technologies projects and programs (Time, Cost, & Quality)
  • Work with market or segment partners to align strategic priorities, including NTI & NPI portfolio for electrical and electronic systems
  • Plan and execute NPI/NTI projects per partners' priorities, working with Advanced Power Technologies teams to provide components and electrical/electronic systems
  • Supervise teams of electronic systems and sub-systems, providing people leadership (coaching, career development, performance management)
  • Drive transparent communication with clients, peers, stakeholders, and team
  • Ensure design and process rigors for all projects executed via NTI, NPI, or Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes
  • Manage budget ~$30M R&D and make product/project decisions yielding good business results
