Extensive business acumen, including managing ~$30M R&D budget and understanding NPI financial and product cost accounting methods

Ability to clearly communicate, collaborate, and build trust across diverse groups (customers, dealers, product specialists, internal partners, engineers, direct reports, leaders)
Understanding of product development processes (NPI, NTI, CPI, BIQ, Aftermarket, Product Support, PPAP, APQP)
Skills in conflict resolution, negotiating, and managing teams & projects through roadblocks

Responsibilities

Oversee top-level execution of Engine Systems New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs
Manage overall relationships with internal partners across Resource Industries, Construction Industries, and Power & Energy segments
Hold direct leadership and accountability for Advanced Power Technologies projects and programs (Time, Cost, & Quality)
Work with market or segment partners to align strategic priorities, including NTI & NPI portfolio for electrical and electronic systems
Plan and execute NPI/NTI projects per partners' priorities, working with Advanced Power Technologies teams to provide components and electrical/electronic systems
Supervise teams of electronic systems and sub-systems, providing people leadership (coaching, career development, performance management)
Drive transparent communication with clients, peers, stakeholders, and team
Ensure design and process rigors for all projects executed via NTI, NPI, or Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes
Manage budget ~$30M R&D and make product/project decisions yielding good business results
