Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies for Focus Categories (Parts & Accessories, Pre-Loved Fashion, Collectibles, and Refurbished), ensuring delivery of financial targets (e.g., GMV, revenue) and KPIs
  • Oversee P&L accountability across categories, managing trade-offs and investments for sustainable growth
  • Anticipate and respond to market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor dynamics to position eBay Australia as a leader
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior managers, fostering accountability, innovation, performance, diversity, inclusion, and collaboration
  • Ensure clear goal-setting, resource prioritization, and alignment across categories
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top sellers, brands, refurbishers, and industry partners
  • Act as a senior spokesperson with industry stakeholders and media on category topics
  • Drive deep understanding of buyers and sellers using data analytics, research, and market engagement; translate into actionable strategies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Trust, Operations) for strategy execution
  • Influence global colleagues to adapt product, policy, and marketing for the Australian market, ensuring local-global alignment
