Candidates are required to possess 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or AI-driven roles, ideally in product-focused environments, with deep expertise in NLP techniques such as text extraction, summarization, embeddings, and LLM fine-tuning. They should have hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face, along with strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data processing and ETL frameworks. Furthermore, they need demonstrated experience in architecting end-to-end AI/ML systems and familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as ML infrastructure tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
As the Director of AI & ML, the individual will define and lead the architecture of our AI solutions, build and oversee a data science team, develop and implement machine learning and NLP models for various applications, collaborate closely with product management, data engineering, and software development teams to deliver integrated solutions, and communicate with non-technical stakeholders about AI initiatives. They will also provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering and analytics teams, evaluate and select appropriate ML/NLP frameworks and cloud infrastructure, integrate embedding models and vector databases into AI solutions, establish effective MLOps practices, and continuously improve model accuracy and effectiveness based on user feedback and performance metrics.
