Law diploma from an accredited law school in Brazil
OAB from Brazil and good standard certificate issued by the entity
Minimum of 15 years of real estate experience aligned with the responsibilities described; prior in-house experience is a differentiator
Extensive experience with a broad-based, solutions-oriented legal background
Practical, hands-on approach with ability to independently lead legal aspects of sophisticated real estate transactions, environmental matters, leasing (including BTSs), litigation, and property management
Ability to ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory frameworks, and contractual obligations
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment providing sound, practical legal advice
Responsibilities
Lead legal due diligence, identify and mitigate risks, and structure solutions to protect Prologis’ interests
Review transaction documents to assure Prologis interests are appropriately addressed
Draft and negotiate all real estate related agreements including easements, leases, construction and development agreements, condominium bylaws, cost-sharing agreements, and service agreements
Structure and quarterback built-to-suit transactions, ensuring smooth closings and transition to the development team
Oversee title, survey, and condominium matters, coordinating external resources as needed
Support and drive legal aspects of entitlements, land use, power procurement and related filings
Manage outside counsel on litigation, entitlements, taxation, and property management
Select and manage outside counsel, including fee proposals and agreements
Anticipate and address emerging legal challenges as Prologis’ business platform evolves
Support the entire platform across the full project lifecycle, including acquisitions, built-to-suit projects, and strategic ventures
Integrate new Prologis business lines into the real estate framework, ensuring alignment between operations and customer relationships
Act as customer-facing, supporting and coordinating business platforms including contract enforcement and monitoring condominium rules compliance, as well as engaging external litigation counsel
