Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including significant experience in a healthcare environment. They should have proven experience managing a medical-grade network and a deep understanding of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations, along with strong technical skills in networking, server administration, storage management, and cybersecurity, and relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Director of IT Infrastructure will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization’s goals, providing leadership and mentorship to the IT infrastructure team, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust and secure medical-grade network, managing the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with HIPAA, managing the IT infrastructure budget, overseeing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, leading and managing IT infrastructure projects, developing and maintaining a disaster recovery and business continuity plan, supervising and developing the IT infrastructure team, collaborating with other departments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements, particularly HIPAA and healthcare industry standards.
