Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must have at least 5 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience, 5+ years of project management experience, and 2+ years of experience leading full life cycle implementations. A PMP certification is required, or the candidate must obtain one within one year. Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management is also necessary, along with knowledge of hospital operations and both theoretical and practical aspects of project management. Superior collaboration, flexibility, and responsiveness are required, and 10-25% nationwide travel is expected.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will lead the implementation of software projects, manage multiple ongoing software implementations, define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and define project tasks and resource requirements. They will develop full-scale project plans, assemble and coordinate project staff, plan and schedule project timelines, track project deliverables, manage risks and issues, provide direction to the project team, monitor and report on project progress, present reports, implement project changes, and evaluate project results. They will also provide feedback to internal teams and development regarding process and product improvement, and collaborate with partners to achieve project goals.
