Experience leading a sourcing team consisting of Senior Managers, Sourcing Managers, and Associate Sourcing Managers
Ability to develop and execute short-term (seasonal) and long-term sourcing strategies supporting creative direction, margin objectives, and business deliverables
Expertise in partnering with Global Sourcing partners, Brand Merchandise, and Product Design on goals like sourcing country diversification, sustainability, innovation, cost margins, and supply chain traceability
Proficiency in managing global initiatives, projects, processes, and resources for safe products and environments
Strong supplier engagement skills to optimize performance, ensure Disney Quality Requirements, drive innovation, and elevate supplier performance with measurable results
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to evaluate market opportunities, build vendor relationships, and expand product knowledge
Advanced knowledge of sourcing technology, including suggesting new uses and technologies

Manage global initiatives, projects, processes, and resources to deliver desired outcomes and ensure appropriate processes for safe products and environments
Engage suppliers and colleagues to optimize performance, ensure Disney Quality Requirements, drive innovation, and elevate supplier performance measurably
Educate and cultivate suppliers to meet production and development timelines
Oversee development of short- and long-term sourcing strategies, setting priorities, objectives, and action plans to improve supply base and mitigate risk with accountability
Travel domestically and internationally to evaluate worldwide market opportunities, build vendor relationships, and expand product knowledge/expertise
Drive market exploration and diversification
Leverage product knowledge across segments and Disney lines of business
Fine-tune measures to achieve cost mitigation goals based on weekly/monthly business reviews
Propose and implement solutions for global and local sourcing strategies
Manage best-in-class vendor base strategies to maximize profitability, minimize risk, and show year-over-year progress
Drive profitability by monitoring mix and change drivers, value engineering, negotiation, and achieving category margin goals
Identify opportunities to leverage cross-category tools, processes, and resources
Mitigate cost increases with creative solutions via supply chain leveraging, value engineering, and market shifts
Develop and drive innovative negotiation strategies for cost/efficiency savings
Apply analytics for optimal total acquisition cost agreements
Articulate and report on market trends, economic indicators, geopolitical risks, and their impact, developing responsive priorities and action plans
