A Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering, understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing environment experience, and proficiency in Microsoft applications are considered bonuses.
The Director of Facilities and Safety will maintain the company's campus, build out new engineering, production, and office spaces, and own the safety program to achieve zero injuries. Responsibilities include hiring and leading a facilities operations team, designing and maintaining critical infrastructure, implementing safety requirements and training to ensure OSHA compliance, and developing a safety-first culture. The role involves collaborating with executive leadership on long-term planning projects, managing third-party service providers, overseeing hazardous waste disposal, building relationships with external partners, and managing projects end-to-end from scope definition to completion.
