Requirements

Fluent knowledge in unit operation design, process modeling, process equipment selection, and scale-up methodologies
Drive to challenge existing methods and create cutting-edge technology
Familiarity and working knowledge of modern synthetic organic chemistry
High learning agility – ability to understand and exploit new scientific concepts and methods across multiple disciplines
Ability to apply learnings to a portfolio of small molecule, oligonucleotide, and synthetic peptide modalities
Leadership and supervisory experience in designing and developing new synthetic routes for active pharmaceutical ingredients
Experience with modern technologies, including continuous processing, automated reaction screening, PAT, and modeling and simulation
Comfortable with scientific uncertainty and the ability to translate hypotheses into action
Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams to evaluate and refine manufacturing routes and technologies
Encouragement of team member initiative
