Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in multiplatform AAA game development
  • Must have shipped multiple titles in an Engineering Lead, Technical Director, or above
  • Experience building and managing multi-discipline, global technical teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, that can be applied to a partner-first, service oriented approach
  • Bonus if shipped one or more titles using Unreal Engine
  • Bonus if comfortable with financial fundamentals like budgets, cost-tracking, and profit/loss

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and technical mentorship to engineering team across tools, consultation, and game development initiatives
  • Supervise the execution of hiring, performance management, and career development strategies
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with our partner studios, acting as a trusted technical advisor
  • Act as the technical liaison in SOW / RFP development, internal and external presentations, and resourcing discussions
  • Collaborate with technical leads to craft and implement best-in-class processes in quality control, development, and risk management
  • Oversee and report on key performance indicators used to drive continuous improvement
  • Evangelize 2K values and champion a culture of high-performance and innovation
  • Directly feedback into technical documentation provided by our studios, due diligence, or other technical discussions in the business
  • Evaluate new technologies and APIs
