Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Economics (highly preferred) or property, urban planning or related degree/discipline with exposure to economic principles
  • Expert in the analysis of ‘people, places, and spaces’ and the many policies and economic factors that determine the structure and performance of cities and regional areas
  • Strong background in providing specialist economic advice on complex land use, property, and policy matters
  • Deep relationships with developers, investors, policy makers, businesses, peak bodies, Government departments and agencies, and other entities seeking advice on economics in real-world issues
  • Client relationships within the above-mentioned groups
  • Mindset that creates high value and is solutions focused
  • Ability to undertake projects as part of a national economics practice
  • Experience within professional consulting services or the public sector, such as local or state government
  • Competency to lead other staff including delegating, supervising, reviewing work, and delivering projects within budget and scope
