Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Education, Instructional Design, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. They should have at least 8 years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design, specifically within nursing or allied health education, and 5 years of experience in digital learning content development. Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, pedagogical principles, and current trends in nursing and healthcare education is required. Familiarity with Elsevier learning platforms such as Sherpath and Elsevier Adaptive Quizzing is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Director, Digital Content Development will be responsible for developing innovative nursing education programs, managing subject matter experts, overseeing content development projects, critically reviewing content for accuracy and compliance, providing training and feedback, and collaborating with other content teams and leadership. They will also be involved in hiring and managing a team of SMEs, supporting the strategic plans for digital content delivery, and providing internal and external thought leadership in nursing and AH education products. Additionally, the role involves partnering with clinical solutions colleagues and supporting the execution of NHE’s strategic goals.
