Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in customer success or account management, with a preference for at least 4 years of people management experience. Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills are needed to manage a book of business around $10 million, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple customer relationships. Technical adaptability, strong presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential. A proven track record of exceeding objectives and a willingness to travel up to 50% are also required. Candidates must be based in the Western US, including Texas.

Responsibilities

The Director of Customer Success will guide and oversee Team Leads and Customer Success Managers, focusing on onboarding, supporting, and growing customer relationships. Key responsibilities include tailoring and implementing customer success strategies to meet regional objectives, recruiting, coaching, and leading teams to meet retention, satisfaction, and growth targets. The role involves managing renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, establishing performance metrics, reporting to executive leadership, segmenting the customer base, tailoring engagement strategies, and advocating for customer needs with cross-functional teams.
