Requirements

  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in operations, particularly in fulfillment centers or similar environments
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, process improvement methodologies, and tools for problem-solving
  • Ability to develop and manage training programs, including materials for new hires, refreshers, and leadership development
  • Proven leadership skills for managing CI teams, cross-functional teams, and site-based managers
  • Expertise in KPI measurement, treatment, auditing, and performance metrics
  • Capability to conduct routine site visits, audits, and on-site training support across multiple locations
  • Skills in stakeholder engagement, project management, and aligning initiatives with business priorities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the CI Team: Develop routine meeting cadence with corporate and local CI teams to review performance metrics and coordinated actions; provide oversight into Kaizen scheduling and progress; develop CI Toolkit for standardized problem-solving; develop best practice process for evaluating and sharing best practices between sites; act as leader of cross-functional teams for process improvement initiatives; develop repository and standard for SOPs, visual boards, and toolkits
  • Lead the Home Chef excellence program: Maintain the Excellence playbook for standards of documentation, process adherence, KPI measurement/treatment, routine review, and tools; conduct on-site audits of each pillar of excellence and adherence to standards; develop expectations for growth through excellence and drive site performance through standardization
  • Lead Home Chef projects: Maintain a pipeline of continuous improvement projects executed by self, team, or site CI managers; work cross-functionally to develop stakeholder engagement and deliver projects across business units; align CI project focus with business priorities and ensure continuity across levels and corporate-to-plant relationships
  • Lead the Home Chef Training Department: Develop new hire training materials for each role and critical task within fulfillment; provide on-site training support; develop/maintain refresher training and partner with site Training Superintendents to meet monthly targets; own new hire training program with regular on-site audits to improve experience; responsible for leadership training program for frontline supervisors/managers and lead development standards
  • Lead the Plant Impact Program: Aid plant and corporate teams in scoping new initiatives for new product lines, capacity increases, and complexity; build/maintain roadmap for new initiatives from corporate; act as liaison between Product and Operations teams
