Requirements

  • Superlative knowledge of core consumer marketing skills, communication skills, and business acumen
  • Expert in all aspects of Marketing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and Integrated media (Paid, Earned, Owned, Shared)
  • Ability to conceive and execute integrated strategic marketing rollout plans
  • Experience driving collaboration and meaningful partnerships with startups, healthcare, and aligned ecosystem industries (e.g., Insurance, FinTech)
  • Capability to liaise with Lilly leaders in IBU/Global, India Hub across functions like Commercial, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Corporate Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Procurement
  • Ability to work closely with Data Sciences & Analytics, Digital Product, and Tech Teams on strategic digitization and automation projects
  • Understanding of complex Indian market with stringent healthcare regulations and local/global procedures

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities comply with local laws, code, and Lilly procedures
  • Lead and develop short-term and long-term consumer strategy and roadmap for Lilly India affiliate, tailored to relevant disease areas (Obesity & T2D, Specialty, future innovative therapies)
  • Map current state of the Affiliate, develop scope of work, and build capabilities, systems, and processes to support consumer marketing needs for innovative therapies
  • Seek and apply best practices from India market and Lilly Hubs/Affiliates, adhering to regulations and compliance
  • Drive Disease State Education programs for relevant consumer segments and tailor content for engagement plans
  • Build and implement operational Patient Education plan aligned with overall market education strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align market education initiatives with business objectives
  • Understand critical insights and tensions among target consumer segments and patients to enhance experience and journey with strategic therapies
  • Devise solution strategies to address and bridge gaps in consumer/patient journey
  • Lead end-to-end strategy and implementation of consumer experience, including mobilizing targets for detection/diagnosis and enabling treatment adherence
  • Oversee excellent marketing execution of consumer marketing strategies for Lilly India’s portfolio
  • Drive B2B partnerships and create strategies to partner with digital health startups and ecosystem players to expand portfolio reach and bring innovative solutions
