Responsibilities

  • Lead the CAMENA region with strategic focus on North Africa, prioritizing successful distributor partnership under Project ATLAS
  • Drive onboarding, development, and management of a high-performing distributor in North Africa capable of handling regulatory, supply chain, and market access complexities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional plan leveraging disease burden, economic drivers, and access gaps, emphasizing key markets like Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, and North Africa
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to position Gilead as a trusted partner, influencing relationships with governments, payers, NGOs, and health systems
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with local governments, international organizations, and key stakeholders, especially in North Africa
  • Direct onboarding and development of a new distributor in North Africa, including training, capacity building, and operational integration aligned with Gilead’s objectives
  • Manage P&L, budgets, and resource allocation for the CAMENA region, focusing on North Africa initiatives and regional targets
  • Deepen relationships with existing distributor and licensee partners, optimizing contractual and operational performance for accelerated access in complex markets
  • Create tailored market access and business development strategies for HIV, HCV, HBV, and pipeline products in access-challenged markets, enabling regional launches with local partnerships
