Requirements

Candidates must possess a PhD, DrPH, ScD, MD, or equivalent degree in Epidemiology, Outcomes Research, Public Health, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience leading health outcomes generation efforts or conducting real-world evidence research, preferably within the digital health, medical devices, or biotech sectors. Applicants should demonstrate a proven ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals and effectively manage interdisciplinary research teams, coupled with a strong understanding of study design, statistics, and the regulatory landscape for digital health. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling the translation of scientific insights to diverse audiences, are also required.

Responsibilities

The Director, Clinical Outcomes Research will establish and oversee clinical outcomes research strategy, including prioritizing outcomes studies such as interventional studies, clinical trials, and retrospective studies. They will develop a prioritization framework that balances business returns and cost/time to market, incorporate innovative approaches to outcomes measurement utilizing existing data sets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams encompassing Science, Data Science, Regulatory, Product, and Marketing to build partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare providers, and public health stakeholders. The role involves contributing to scientific publications and presentations, fostering a high-performance, evidence-driven culture, and managing a multidisciplinary team, ensuring scientific rigor in all deliverables.
