Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data management
Over 10 years of relevant experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, and team leadership
Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and DBT
Deep understanding of Snowflake, Fivetran, and other ETL tools
Hands-on experience building scalable data products
Excellent business relationship management skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the Analytics Engineering team, including analytics engineers and Tableau developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support
Build and scale a high-performing analytics function that delivers reliable, scalable data products
Foster a culture of data quality, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement
Drive the design and implementation of robust data models supporting a hybrid reporting structure (governed self-service reporting)
Hands-on involvement in data transformation, modeling, and analytics to ensure best practices and architectural excellence
Design and optimize data models and architecture for analytical and reporting requirements across the organization
Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines, transformations, and semantic layers
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and priorities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of analytics projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
Enable governed self-service analytics by building intuitive, well-documented data products
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve analytics engineering efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor and ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of analytics solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data pipelines
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in analytics engineering, data modeling, and modern data stack technologies
Oversee Tableau development efforts and dashboard design to uncover insights and drive data-driven decision-making
Ensure data visualization best practices and governance standards are followed across all reporting deliverables
