Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3–5 years in outside field sales or experience in an eyecare office
  • Healthcare or supplements sales experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the eye care industry is a plus
  • Proven relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent organizational, project management, written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), CRM (preferably Salesforce), and PowerBI
  • Ability to carry materials up to 40 lbs
  • Willingness to travel via air and road, including overnight stays (approx. 1 week/month, including some weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales goals (monthly, quarterly, annual) for your territory
  • Prospect and close new business opportunities across a multi-state region
  • Deliver in-office education and training to doctors and staff, increasing product recommendations and patient conversions
  • Communicate brand and product information effectively
  • Attend and represent the company at trade shows, exhibits, dinner programs, and presentations (including some weekends)
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost product awareness and sales growth
  • Engage customers remotely via webinars and video conferencing
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key account personnel
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers and National Account Manager to meet performance objectives
  • Continuously assess and address customer needs, reporting challenges and solutions
  • Utilize Salesforce and PowerBI to manage customer interactions and monitor sales
  • Apply best practices to maximize growth and profitability
  • Manage time, organization, and expenses within budget
