  • Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams
  • Understand customers’ businesses and deliver technical support/leadership for technology solutions meeting business needs
  • Act as trusted advisor to create and maintain effective customer relationships for customer satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge
  • Contribute to company’s solutions portfolio with technical knowledge and methodologies from customer projects
  • Shape technical direction and strategies within the organization and for external customers
  • Achieve consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal projects) and assist in meeting revenue and customer satisfaction goals
  • Apply developed subject matter expertise to solve common and complex technical problems, recommend alternatives
  • Act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals
  • Exercise independent judgment and consult with others to determine best methods for work and objectives
  • Ability to interact with people (customer and internal HPE) at all levels and geographies
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive conversations/discussions

Responsibilities

  • Interact with sales/pursuit/Presales team in country to understand customer requirements, review RFPs, and solution requirements
  • Deliver best-in-class technology solutions to solve customer business challenges while meeting HPE business objectives
  • Take part in solution preparation to deliver technical value and expertise to HPE’s large customer base and/or contribute to design of technical solutions for customer environments
  • Work independently or across teams to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Participate in a chosen technical community or profession to expand technical knowledge, business acumen, and professional network
  • Work in collaboration with sales to develop pricing quotes
