About StarTree

StarTree provides a real-time analytics platform called StarTree Cloud, which utilizes the Apache Pinot database. This platform is designed for businesses that need immediate insights from their data, such as those in advertising technology and finance. StarTree Cloud operates in the Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) market, allowing companies to store and manage their data on cloud servers without the hassle of database maintenance. Clients can choose between a public Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model or a private option known as Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC), which lets them host their data on their own private cloud. StarTree's subscription-based business model ensures a consistent revenue stream, and they also offer a free trial to attract new customers. The key feature of StarTree Cloud is its use of Apache Pinot, which is optimized for fast and scalable real-time analytics through a unique star-tree index, setting it apart from competitors.
