Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps or SRE engineer in a large-scale, high-traffic cloud environment
Proven technical leadership experience acting as a technical lead, go-to expert, or mentor on complex projects (formal team lead experience not mandatory)
Expert-level knowledge of managing production cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Ansible)
Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and production-grade Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration
Strong command of CI/CD best practices and modern tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD)
Proven experience building and managing sophisticated monitoring stacks (e.g., Mimir, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
Solid in-depth understanding of Linux systems and networking
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in English and Hebrew
Strong technical leadership with ambition to grow into a formal managerial position
(Bonus) Experience with big data solutions (e.g., Kafka, Spark) or a variety of SQL/NoSQL databases

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical authority for the DevOps team, mentoring engineers on best practices, complex problem-solving, and architectural decisions
Dedicate significant time to hands-on coding, infrastructure development, and process automation as a key individual contributor
Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of cloud architecture for massive scale, ensuring resilience, performance, and cost-efficiency
Own the technical design and operational health of critical infrastructure components, driving resolution of complex production issues
Proactively identify and implement automation and innovative tooling to improve system reliability, shorten development cycles, and eliminate manual work
Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to design next-generation systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence
Align tools and processes with multiple DevOps teams across the company
Build lasting, reusable solutions and internal tools that empower developers, championing self-service "paved roads" to improve developer experience and enable faster, more secure feature shipping
